Yes, dragons are real.

Hey love,

Picture a business retreat in your mind. The good kind... the kind you already (or would) lead.

It's held in a beautiful 16th century Scottish castle with its own wine cellar. There's a glass whiteboard in the great room that probably cost more than your chef.

Someone's already posted the charcuterie board from opening night to her stories with a caption about abundance.

The woman leading it is brilliant at what she does. Unparalleled.

Let's pretend for a minute I'm talking about you.

Your funnels hum. Your messaging could sell sand to the Sahara. Your offer suite has better posture than most of the women in the room. When it comes to content, marketing, and strategy, your work is genuinely next level, and everyone at your retreat knows it. That's why they paid without a second guess for 5 days of proximity to you and your genius.

Nine women fly home with a forty-page notebook filled with content ideas, a customized launch plan, and a bad case of now-I-wanna-live-in-a-castle-itis.

The telegram thread is blowing up with tearful airport goodbye photos and quotes your assistant is scurrying to screenshot. Your videographer has sent back teasers from the group photoshoot and they are literally INSANE.

And then.

The mastermind seats you were sure would fill stay quiet.
The women who said this is exactly what I needed never actually implement any of it, so the results never come, so the case studies never get written, so you have to spend that much more time, money, and energy to fill your next offer.
The women in your entry offer, the ones who cracked wide open on the masterclass, suddenly go silent. I need to sit with this. They sit with it for the next six months.

So, you do what any smart business owner does. Your rewrite your sales page. Add a retreat-only bonus. Build a tighter follow-up sequence. Hire another strategist. Learn another micro-skill you think you're missing.

But none of it touches the leak.

Because here's what's actually happening:
Three weeks after the retreat, half your guests are booking an energy healer.

To clear what, exactly?

The grief one woman wept into the circle on day two.
The panic another leaked across the breakfast table.
The resentment that crackled under the hot seat and never got named, so it went looking for a body to live in.

Theirs.

They came for your strategy, your energy, your magic.
They left carrying everybody’s shadows.

So they go home more overwhelmed by the business they’ve been saying all along they want. They open the launch plan you co-created and it feels a stone sitting on their chest. They go to write a post but find themselves face down on the kitchen floor instead.

Because a woman carrying so much in her unconscious has no room left in her body to say yes to more. Even to her own dreams.

Overwhelm simply doesn’t ascend.

Your retreat didn't fail to deliver. The content was excellent. What failed her was the field you didn't know you needed to set or hold.

The container.

The moment you gather women to change, you open something. Money wounds, mother wounds, ambition with its teeth showing, the quiet terror of finally being seen. All of it rises like heat off August asphalt.

Somebody's gotta hold that.
Some body.

The slide deck can’t.
The breathwork playlist can’t.
The private chef, bless her, definitely can’t.

Most leaders never see it happening. They’re facilitating brilliantly at the front of the room while the energy underneath pools, tangles, and quietly attaches itself to whoever is most porous. Usually the women who need clarity most. The ones who instinctively try to heal the woman sitting next to them without realizing they're doing it.

So the brilliant leader keeps solving a field problem with funnel tools.

This? This is the dragon’s job.

She sits at the edge of the room, unbothered, and the heat moves through her like breath through a bellows. She feels all of it. She carries none of it home. It gets metabolized. Forged. Turned into something the women can actually use.

Nobody leaves wearing someone else’s ghost.

And women who leave clean? They implement. They get results. They write the testimonial without being asked. They say yes to the mastermind before you’ve finished describing it, because they have room in their bodies for what comes next.

I’ve held 59 retreat rooms across four continents and more than 12,500 hours of this kind of space. The strategy matters. I’d never tell you otherwise. Strategy fills the room.

The capacity to hold what happens inside it decides whether your women go home expanded or go home needing to be cleared.

Your genius got them in the room.
Your capacity decides what they carry out.

Every business retreat needs a dragon.

There are two ways to put one in yours.

You can Forge yourself into one.

Or you can bring one with you.

I join a small number of retreats each year as the one who holds the field. You keep teaching what you’re brilliant at. I tend the fire underneath it, so your women go home with capacity instead of residue, and the room converts the way you always knew it could.

If your next retreat is on the calendar, reply and let’s talk.

xo,

Hey love, We owe you an apology. Our last email about "waking up" your deck was meant to help with what we thought was the main issue: cards bound tightly in two stacks, causing heavy bowing that needed some love to work out. It went out yesterday morning, after the first reports of bowing, peeling and uneven cuts had reached us, but before we understood how widespread the trim and card-face problems were. To some of you, it read like spin, and that was never my intention. We're sorry. You...

Hello love,I have hidden notes under chairs. I have tucked things behind cushions and under beds that no retreat guest will ever find. Written intentions for women I hadn't met yet, then burned the papers before they arrived. They'll never know what I invoked for them. (No one will ever know...) Because, even when nobody knows what the fuck I'm doing, I do it anyway. It's my little treasure chest of rituals ~ the things that make the spaces I hold feel infused with magic; because they are...

Hello, love! The day has finally arrived.... The final files for the Wild Messengers tarot + guidebook have been sent off to our printers for the full production run!But before placing the order, like any intuitive business owners should when it comes to a big decision, we consulted the Messengers about what size our print order should be...What better than to use the "Choice Point Spread" from our book 👇 to understand the energies of a larger vs. a smaller production run?? Card 1 - Choice A:...
